How do I prepare for Judicial Service Exam

Judiciary OR Judicial Service is becoming one of the most prestigious career option for a law graduates. Number of candidates appearing for judicial service examination is increasing day by day, which means competition is very high now a days to clear judicial service. However, as compared to other competitive examinations like Civil Service Examination, number of candidates appearing for judicial service exam is very less. Still the competition is high.

So, the question is; I am a law graduate and I am keen on taking judicial service as a career option. OR in other words, I would like to become a Judge. Thus, how do I prepare for Judicial Service Examination?

Well, now a days most of the students starts their preparation for judicial service when they are in the law school itself. This will happen along with their regular studies. Often it seems to be difficult to manage. In such cases, it is recommended to concentrate more on the papers like Constitution, Code of Civil Procedure, Code of Criminal Procedure, Indian Evidence Act etc.

Since, most of the students commence their preparation for judicial service examination during their fourth year of law school, concentrating on above mentioned subjects will not only help them for judicial service examination but also for obtaining higher grades in their semester examination. Further, the same will also helps the candidates to cement their knowledge on the basic concepts of above mentioned law subjects.

At the same time there are various institutes offering coaching for judicial service examination varying from classroom level coaching to postal coaching. Each aspiring candidate for judicial service can get enrolled with any of the leading coaching centers for judicial service examination and subscribe to their study materials as well as mock judicial service question papers.

This will provide an overall idea to the candidate on how to approach the exam. Mere studying of law papers is not enough to clear judicial service examination. It is very much required to practice through previous years question papers or mock judiciary examination. One may also look for various online mock examination options available to practice and check your level of preparation.

This will help you to identify the strength and weakness in your preparation. Hence, accordingly you get a chance to rectify and go ahead in your judiciary exam preparation.     I am 4th semester student shall I join coaching centers and start prepare for judicial exams from now onwards or late.
