The below is intended only as a guide for potential funding arrangements for 2015.
In addition to AHRC funding provided through the AHRC Midlands3Cities consortium, the College of Arts and Law offers a number of scholarships for full-time UK, EU and international research students. These awards cover tuition fees for up to three years of PhD research, and additional funding for living expenses may be available to those who undertake teaching within the College, although this cannot be guaranteed.
Applications are welcome from students wishing to study any discipline covered within the College’s five schools:
Applicants who have already applied for AHRC funding will automatically be considered for one of these College awards.
Value of Award
These awards cover tuition fees.
Some additional funding for living expenses may be available to those who undertake teaching within the College, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Eligibility Criteria
These awards are open to students worldwide for full-time, campus-based doctoral researchers in the College of Arts and Law.
