This is with the basic objective to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">UGC conducts NET exams in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ugc.ac.in\/net\/syllabus.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">94 subjects<\/a> (as on UGC-NET 2015) in the fields of Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science, whereas Law is also one of the specialised subject for UGC \u2013 NET. Subject code for Law for UGC \u2013 NET is 58.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ugc.ac.in\/net\/syllabuspdf\/58.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NET exam for Law consist of 3 papers<\/a>, where Paper I includes questions pertaining to Research Methodology, Teaching, Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Paper II deals with the subjects of Constitution of India, Legal Theory, Public International Law, Family Law, Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Law of Crimes, and Labour Laws.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paper III for UGC \u2013 NET (Law) is the core or elective subject, where following subjects are covered viz. Indian Constitution, Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, International Law, Human Rights, Family Law (including the concepts of Marriage, Divorce, Adoption, Maintenance, Matrimonial remedies, Uniform civil code etc.), Law of Torts and Corporate Law (including Company Law, Partnership Act, Sales of Goods Act, Negotiable Instruments Act etc.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are large number of study materials available in the market for the preparation of UGC \u2013 NET. However, there are very few coaching institutes or coaching centres who offers training or classes for UGC \u2013 NET preparation.
