{"id":5732,"date":"2014-10-07T20:28:09","date_gmt":"2014-10-07T14:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lex-warrier.in\/?p=5732"},"modified":"2023-07-01T15:49:43","modified_gmt":"2023-07-01T15:49:43","slug":"marchant-foundation-llm-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lex-warrier.in\/archives\/marchant-foundation-llm-scholarship.html","title":{"rendered":"Marchant Foundation LLM Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Marchant Foundation LLM\u00a0Scholarship has been made possible by the kind donation of a former LSE law graduate (LLB, 1986).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scholarship was awarded in the 2013\/14 session\u00a0for \u00a310,000 and is expected to be\u00a0awarded\u00a0in the 2014 to the\u00a0same value\u00a0on the basis of financial need.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eligibility<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This scholarship is available for use on the full time LLM (Master of Laws).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Preference will be given to Indian applicants resident in India in the first instance; if there are no suitable Indian students we will consider those with UK and EU fee status.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">How to apply<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To be considered for this scholarship, you must have completed the 2014\/15 LSE Graduate Financial Support Application form and\u00a0received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) by 5pm 28 April 2014. You\u00a0<strong>must complete Section G &#8211; Personal Statement.<\/strong>\u00a0Complete Section G &#8211; Personal Statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When you submit an application for admission to a taught master\u2019s programme, the Graduate Admissions Office will acknowledge your application and provide information\u00a0about\u00a0how to set up an LSE For You online account. This account will allow you to track the progress of your application for admission, and will provide you with access to the LSE Graduate Financial Support Application Form. The LSE Graduate Financial Support Application form will be available until 5pm 28 April 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selection for this scholarship will take place between May and July 2014 and we will notify the successful recipient(s) by the end of July 2014. If you have not heard from the Financial Support Office by the end of July 2014, you must assume your application has been unsuccessful. We will\u00a0notify successful applicants only.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.lse.ac.uk\/study\/graduate\/enquirer\/howToApply\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How to apply\u00a0for admission<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.lse.ac.uk\/study\/graduate\/applicant\/trackYourApplication.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tracking your application<\/a>\u00a0for admission<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you complete the LSE Graduate Financial Support Application form, you will also be considered for support from the LSE Graduate Support Scheme.
