{"id":5575,"date":"2014-10-02T22:32:50","date_gmt":"2014-10-02T17:02:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lex-warrier.in\/?p=5575"},"modified":"2023-07-01T15:49:44","modified_gmt":"2023-07-01T15:49:44","slug":"daad-masters-scholarship-european-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lex-warrier.in\/archives\/daad-masters-scholarship-european-law.html","title":{"rendered":"DAAD Master\u2019s Scholarship for European Law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scholarship programme offers highly qualified graduate students in the field of law to complete a master\u2019s degree programme (LL.M.) and specialize in European Law at selected German higher education institutions.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Who can apply? <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme is aimed at graduate students in the field of law who have earned a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Law (1st class).<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Duration of funding <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 months German language in Germany (August to September)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">10 months to 12 months study period (October to July or September) depending on course length<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Selection<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following a pre-selection round, qualified applicants will be invited for an interview conducted by a bi-national Selection Committee at the DAAD office in New Delhi (expected end of January \/ beginning of February 2015)<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What requirements have to be fulfilled? <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In general, applicants must have completed a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Law (1st class) at the time of application. Further to that, the following requirements must be fulfilled by the time of application: No more than six years should have passed since gaining the last degree.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applicants should be residents in India. Applicants, who have been resident in Germany for longer than 15 months, cannot be considered. Applicants must hold the Indian citizenship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please note: The scholarship award letter from the DAAD only becomes effective once the holder has been admitted to studies.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Language skills <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proficiency of the German language is not mandatory at the time of application, but high proficiency of the English language.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Application Procedure<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please submit two copies of application documents by post:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Printout of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarship.daad.de\/obdva\/www_echt\/www\/index.html?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online application form<\/a>\u00a0with passport-size photograph and signature<\/li>\n<li>Full curriculum vitae<\/li>\n<li>Statement about academic and personal reasons for the planned study project in Germany (letter of motivation)<\/li>\n<li>Two recent references from university teachers which provide information about the applicant\u2019s qualifications; please enclose one copy of the reference in a sealed envelope with each copy of your application.<br \/>\nPlease use form\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.daad.de\/deutschland\/stipendium\/hinweise\/en\/8527-application-forms-downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cReports on scholarship applications submitted by foreign students, graduates, doctoral students and postdocs\u201d<\/a>\u00a0from DAAD website.<\/li>\n<li>University degree certificates indicating final grade(s)<\/li>\n<li>Recent language certificate giving evidence of the applicant\u2019s level of proficiency of the English language (TOEFL min. 550 paper based, 213 computer based, 80 internet based, or IELTS (band 6) certificate)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nPlease note: The first and last name filled in the application form should be identical to the name in the passport.<\/p>\n<p
